Just want a creature with a really large head.

Hehe gonna use this pretty boy for the cover of our indie (naks, sinisimulan na hehe).

Hmmm he looks smelly.....

I've never seen a combination of ugly and gloomy expressed on a character all at the same time, this is awsome, nice job!

I wish I could draw with that much detail, you rock

Hehe ugly and gloomy, the gloomy part was an accident. It was supposed to look like its in a really bad mood, but half way through completion (final rendering part) its expression suddenly turned gloomy (emo XD ), weird no? XD

It was all thanks to Alan Lee's doodle/scribble like technique, aaand i dont usually smudge most of my pencil drawings thats why it has that texture like effect on it, hehe :D

do you use charcoal pencils or something?

Hmm... i dont use charcoals, not very good with it, can't control the messy part. I use graphite pencils 2B. (blunt side for rendering) And .5 mechanical pencil, also with a 2B lead for the details. Then change the darkness/lightness in photoshop (Image-Adjustments-Levels), thats why it bacame this dark. :D
